Police destroy ganja farm at Rockstone

first_imgRanks of the Guyana Police Force (GPF) on Friday conducted a drug eradication operation at Rockstone, Region 10 (Upper Demerara-Upper Berbice) where they destroyed a farm of marijuana plants.The ganja farm which was destroyed by PoliceThe exercise was carried out somewhere around four to five miles from the Rockstone Trail, and commenced at about 07:30h and ended at 15:00h.One farm that was divided into two, measuring about an acre, was found with about three to four thousand cannabis plants with heights varying from one foot to four feet.The plants were photographed, samples were obtained, and then the farm was destroyed by fire.The land was marked by its location.According to the Police, no one was arrested, but investigations are in progress.last_img read more
